Position: Programs Manager – Contract (Part-time)
Salary: $20.00 – 15hrs/week
Reporting to: Executive Director
Contract Duration: 16 Week Contract – Immediate Start (September 2020 – December 2020) with possible extension

Workshops, Motivational Talks and Community Events
The Programs will work closely with the Executive Director to build, review, and execute all youth programs. The programs manager will take lead on creating a program Macro framework that ensures – quality and engaging learning, tracking, and promotion for all programs. The Program manager will oversee youth program coordinators who will support programs but the program will have to participate as well where and when needed. The programs manager will review all past programs, events and initiatives and expand on the successes while also planning for programing in a new virtual frontier. The life skill topics will include S.M.A.R.T goal setting, financial literacy, career discovery, self-esteem building and networking, and the program Manager will have access to all of SFL internal presentation resources and have the ability to develop on what already exists. The programs manger will also be able to research and plan social activities with the youth that are designed to create a safe and positive space for the youth to build trust and a connection to the Skills For Life team as a whole.
