The Black Entrepreneurship Program (BEP), is a virtual mentorship program that supports Black youth aged between 16-29 years in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec. Our goal is to raise funds to assist deserving participants in the BEP to become successful entrepreneurs by joining our program.
We’ve currently enlisted 120 young black Canadians to guide them on their journey to become fully fledged entrepreneurs. Your support will help create a sustainable program that produces a strong black business ecosystem.
Our Participants are given a 4 month virtual program aimed at harnessing collaboration and creativity. They’ll learn about the nitty-gritty of entrepreneurship and how to build a sustainable business. This will be followed by a 12-month mentorship program where they’ll be paired with black business leaders to hone their skills. In addition our top participants will compete in a pitch competition with a chance to win up to $5000 in grants to start their business.
We are calling on kind-hearted individuals to purchase tickets and donate to help Black youth access these resources. Our BEP program is free, and your contribution will help ensure that we can continue to support our participants effectively.
